The kind page describes the fields, the rules the handler enforces and the HM24 counterpart; this page exists so that the schema has its own stable URL, hm://z6MkiAKDcRSzQ4zPZfnJcS5HYx5MwgN6MU9foHihJGrhqNBj/stem/kinds/file/value, which Kind descriptors, Snapshot blobs and other schemas reference.
What it types
The value of every Snapshot whose node has kind file. root is the CID the handler emits as a file link, so the UnixFS tree is retained with the node and inherits the node's readers.
