Creating a New Document does nothing from comments pageWhen the user creates a new sub-document, what should we do if the content tab is not active?

Eric Vicenti created this issue the other day and it's true that based on the current workflow of creating a new sub-document this does seem to do nothing. we need to have a solution

    Reproduction

      Open any document

      Navigate to the comments tab

      Press new Public document

      See the error (Nothing happens)

What should we do? should we navigate to the content tab and scroll to the card created?

Or maybe when you are NOT in the content tab and you press new document, we navigate the user to the draft?

    Thoughts from Eric

As you know, I believe that we should always navigate directly to the draft when the user creates it. That is what every other app does when you create a document.

I don't think the user will get lost because they can

        press the back button. or,

use breadcrumbs to go to the parent where their document is located.

As we agreed, it is good that a card is created for the draft in the parent content. And I believe that solves the issue of the user getting confused about the location of their new document.

    Looking for a Solution

I want to know what to do when a user clicks on "new document" when the user is in another tab besides the content tab:

navigate to the content and scroll to the draft card

        navigate to the draft directly

        something else?
