Timeline and Grouped by Threads are incompatible.?

We can have both views: Discussions and Activity Views on the Document Panel, but also on the General Feed Panel.

I'm starting to get used to it. As a unified feed I think it's not bad. As the only way of dealing with comments it's pretty hard indeed.

I keep thinking that having a Gmail-style threads in a separate panel would be a nice way to work with discussions.

Grouped by thread like gmail.

Within a thread have a way to display it chronologically (flat) or in hierarchy.

Updated threads move up to the top.
